Can Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs be Inflated Manually or is an Onboard Compressor Required
Question:
Do you need an onboard compressor with this type of system or can I inflate them manually?

You do not have to have an on board compressor to inflate the Firestone suspension enhancement system, # F2299. You can inflate them with an air pump such as you might find at a gas station or using a compressor at home.
There are kits available that you can add to install a compressor with the system and inflate them from the comfort of your truck cab. There are 2 systems. The Level Command system, # F2097, will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the bags together. The Level Command II, # F2219, will allow you to adjust each air bag independently of the other which is ideal if you frequently carry various types of loads in the truck.
I have included some instruction links and FAQ links on Firestone suspension systems and accessories.
