Troubleshooting ECN Error Code of Wireless Firestone Compressor Kit

Question:

I have a ride rite wireless air bag system on my 2022 2500 Denali I have the ECN code Air bags are separate from one another The compressor still works and is maintaining air bag pressure at 75 psi on each bag individually as that is what they were last set at before it lost communication. I have in plugged from power to try and reset the computer in hopes the remote would reconnect. I also have an air tank as well which I can use to fill my tires up with. Kind of at a loss as to why it will not reconnect.

The E/CN error on your remote indicates that communication was not established for 2 seconds. The first thing you should try is using the remote outside near the compressor. If you do not have the error then there is interference inside the vehicle which really can't be helped. I know it is a new remote but you could also try swapping out the battery. If the battery on the remote is low this could also cause the issue.

It is also possible that you don't have power on the compressor which would mean there is nothing to connect to with the remote. When starting the vehicle there will be a brief period where the compressor kicks on for at least a few seconds. If this is not happening it could be an issue with the compressor itself. Keep in mind, this is on a timer so if you repeatedly start the vehicle the compressor will not kick on. It has to be sitting off for a while before you can check this.

Some of the potential issues could be the fuse, a bad ground connection, or the wiring. You can check to make sure the fuse isn't blown and then make sure the ground connection is also secure. If the issue continues then I would reach out to Firestone directly to troubleshoot further.
