Does the plug need to be plugged in to a GFCI outlet or can it be plugged in to a standard outdoor 110 outlet?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Although a standard 110-120V outlet would work fine, for safety's sake ideally you would use a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) outlet because the product is being used in close proximity to water.
