Can Slipper Springs Be Used for Tandem 5,200 Pound Axles

Question:

i currently purchased 2 5200 lb axles with slipper leaf springs, I plan on building a 20 ft dual axle trailer . are they appropriate for that or do i need double eyed leaf springs?

As long as both the axles and slipper springs are appropriately rated for the planned loaded weight of your trailer, there's no problem with using slipper springs instead of double-eye models. Slipper springs are actually typically used for more heavy-duty applications, so they're going to work really nicely on a heavier trailer like what you are building.

I have attached a couple of great articles on trailer suspension below that you might also check out. Just let me know if there are any other questions I can help with or if you need some recommendations on specific components.
