Roadmaster Cross-bar Style Base Plate For 1997 Jeep Wrangler U-Channel Bumper With Ready Brute Elite
Question:
1997 Jeep Wrangler with U-shape OEM flat top/face bumper. Does base plate #1415-1 mount on top of the existing bumper? Is the crossbar adapter #910021-00 also needed ? I will be using a motohome mounted Ready Brute Elite towbar? Thanks

The Roadmaster Cross-bar Style bracket kit part # 1415-1 is compatible with the U-shape OEM bumper as long as it has a flat top and face. If the bumper does not have a flat face this particular base plate is not compatible. The cross bar kit will install on top of the existing bumper according to the installation instructions. Crossbar adapter part # 910021-00 is not needed. However, you will need adapter part # RM-032 to adapt the Ready Brute Elite tow bar to this base plate.
