For your 2001 Jeep Sport with double tube bumper, you will want to use the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-521424-4. This product features removable arms that can be easily removed via 2 pins. The installation is easy and requires no welding and instructions and mounting hardware is included.

In addition to the base plate, you will need a tow bar, a safety cable set, tow bar wiring, and a supplemental braking system to tow your Jeep if you do not have these components already. The tow bar links your tow vehicle to the vehicle being towed and I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar # RM-520.

The safety cables ensure your tow vehicle and the towed vehicle do not separate during transportation in the event that your towed vehicle were to somehow become uncoupled. For this, I recommend the Roadmaster 68 Inch Safety Cables # RM-643. The tow bar wiring provides a brake light system for the towed vehicle. For the easiest and least invasive installation, I recommend the Custer Magnetic Towing Light Kit # RM-2120.
