Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 36540 Fit a 2012 Toyota Camry SE and Can the Car be Used for Towing
Question:
I have a 2012 camry se. The se package has a body kit that extends pretty low. Will this hitch fit it? Also, my owners manual says that the car doesnt have a tow capacity at all. Should I be concerned?

First, if the owners manual states that you cannot tow with the vehicle, then I cannot recommend going against that. If the owners manual is unclear, you will need to contact your Toyota dealer or Toyota directly to determine if the car can be used for towing and, if so, what the capacity is.
The Draw-Tite trailer hitch, # 36540, is listed as a fit for all models of the 2012 Toyota Camry, including the SE. It also fits hybrid models. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
If you can do some towing, the correct ball mount is # 36071 and you can use hitch pin and clip # PC2. Fir a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch use # 19258. For trailer wiring, use # 118405. I have included instructions for the wiring as well.
