Blue Ox Base Plates For 2018 Mini Cooper Countryman

WHich base plates work for my 2018 mini cooper countryman? there donesnt seem to be roadmaster so the blue ox will work though is that correct?

You are correct that the base plates that fit your 2018 Mini Cooper Countryman (with the exception of the S model) are the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1316.
Along with base plates there are a number of other parts you'll need to flat tow your '18 Countryman, which I'll list for you.
- Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380
- Wiring Harness: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System: SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
OR
- If your motorhome has air brakes: Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motorhomes with Air Brakes # SM99243
The Alpha Tow Bar is a great option because it has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing, along with integrated safety cables which means you don't have to make an additional purchase. I really like the Flexo-Coil wiring kit because it is designed to prevent any type of electrical feedback to keep your Mini's electrical system safe, and the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO is strongly recommended because it not only gives you effective braking, but is a one-time install which will never require any type of removal or reactivation.
