Is there a hitch for a 2020 toyota sienna you would recommend based on ground clearance? these cars are pretty low to the ground so what do you think is the best option?

To avoid any issues with ground clearance with your 2020 Toyota Sienna, I strongly recommend a trailer hitch with a concealed crosstube because they will sit up higher and give you more ground clearance than a hitch with a visible crosstube.

When we test fit the three trailer hitches that fit your 2020 Sienna that have a concealed crosstube - the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98853, Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13343, and Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76112 - we found that each of them had the same ground clearance, measuring 13 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver.

That said, the best option and my recommendation is the Draw-Tite # 76112 because it is the only one of the hitches rated for use with weight distribution, which can be an important factor if you plan on doing any towing. Additionally, I really like Draw-Tite because of the superior quality and reliability of their products. I have added a link to a video of this hitch being installed on a Sienna for you to check out. The accompanying photo is one that a customer sent in of the Draw-Tite on their Sienna so you can see how it will look when yours is installed.

If you do plan on towing and need a wiring harness the most reliable option is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118648 for non-SE models or # 118498 if your Sienna is an SE model.

I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop – along with a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
