Largest Propane Tank for Use With MB Sturgis 2-State Propane Regulator
Question:
We need to live in our travel trailer for a month or so... depends on how the house move goes. There's a 250 lbs. tank available so we can run the heat, to keep our tanks warm, as it will be cold here in South Dakota. Is it possible do get the correct regulator to drop the pressure before it goes to the camper, or is 100 lbs all that is recommended. I haven't found any regulators that go higher?

The highest-quality regulator we carry is the MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221, so I reached out to MB Sturgis, and they told me that their regulator is only recommended for use with propane tanks up to 100 lbs.
For your application, since it is such a large tank, they recommended contacting a propane distributor who specializes in such large propane applications.
