The difference between the Curt A25 part # C16180 and the Curt Q25 part # C16265 is the jaw system. I have attached a photo for your reference. The A25 is an upgraded version of the Q25 because of it's interlocking jaw. The A25 interlocking jaw results in full contact with the king pin on the fifth wheel which reduces the rattle and chucking you may experience with a looser king pin connection. Although both options are great fifth wheel hitches with 25,000 lbs of towing capacity, the A25 will give you a more comfortable ride. Both hitches also fit industry standard fifth wheel rails in the bed.
Also the A25 can be used with a pivoting pin box unlike the Q25 that is not compatible because of it's pivoting head.
