Is Fascia Trimming Required to Install Trailer Hitch on 2019 Chevy Spark

Will I need to trim any fascia to add a trailer hitch to my 2019 Chevy Spark or is there an option to avoid doing that?

Expert Reply:
The Curt # C11433, does require some trimming of the fascia to install on your 2019 Chevy Spark. There are no other trailer hitch options at this time (March 2023) so if you're wanting to add a trailer hitch you will need to do some trimming. It sounds intimidating but if you follow the instructions and take your time it really isn't too bad.
The Curt trailer hitch is estimated to take about an hour to install. It requires no drilling for installation, but it may require the access holes be enlarged by drilling, filing, or by using a rotary tool. As far as the fascia trimming required for installation, I have attached the installation instructions that includes some pictures for you to get an idea of what it looks like.
If you let me know what you plan on using the trailer hitch for I can make an additional recommendation for you.
