Comparing Timbren Axle-Less 2K Trailer Suspension Systems with 4" Lift

Question:

Hi, what is the difference between the following two products, beside the slight weight difference? What is the difference between off-road tires vs. wide tires? Is one newer than the other? Item # ASR1THDS03 Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 4inch Lift Spindle w/Flange - Off-Road Tires - 2.2K vs Item # ASR2KHDS03 Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4inch Lift Spindle - Wide Tires - 2,000 lbs vs Item # ASR2KHDS04 Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4inch Lift Spindle - Regular Tires - 2,000 lbs Thanks!

Great question!

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR2KHDS04 has a standard size spindle which is why it is for regular tires. The Timbren Systems # ASR2KHDS03 and # ASR1THDS03 have longer spindles which can accommodate wider tires and the only difference between them is the slightly higher weight rating of the part # ASR1THDS03 (also known as the 1 Tonne by Timbren).

All 3 kits are great options for off-road use because of the 4" lift, so it really boils down to what size tires you plan on using and if you want the extra 200 lbs of weight capacity or not.

2,000 lbs and Regular Tires - # ASR2KHDS04
2,000 lbs and Off-Road (Wide) Tires - # ASR2KHDS03
2,200 lbs and Off-Road (Wide) Tires - # ASR1THDS03
