Thickness of Steel Tube to Mount 2,200 lb Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System

Question:

I am planning on building an off road trailer and using your Timbren 2,000 lb axle-less suspension with 5 on 4 1/2 lugs. This will work with a 2x3 Tube frame mount, correct? What thickness tube? weight is a factor, and Im thinking of 3/16

That's a good question, and according to the linked installation instructions, the 2,200 lb Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 4" Lift Spindle with Flange - Off-Road Tires # ASR1THDS03 requires at least a 2" x 2" steel tube with a 1/4" thickness.

For a hub you can use the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 84545UC1-EZ or for a hub and drum the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84546UC3-EZ.
