Is 4-Bike Thule T2 Pro XTR Compatible with 2 Hitch Receivers on 2006 and 2016 Toyota Highlander
Question:
We have both a 2006 and 2016 Toyota Highlander and have a 2 inch hitch on both, and are looking for a sturdy, platform bike rack which can switch easily from 2 to 4 bicycles. Will this only fit our 2016 Highlander? Thank you.

Since both your 2006 and 2016 Toyota Highlander have 2" trailer hitches you can definitely use the Thule T2 Pro XTR 4 Bike Platform Rack # TH69TX with both vehicles. Just be mindful that the T2 Pro XTR weighs in at 54 lbs and has a 60 lb per bike weight capacity when set up for 2 bikes, but then when the add-on is installed it weighs in at 96 lbs and has a weight capacity of 60 lbs per bike but limits the total capacity to 160 pounds. Therefore, they can't all be 60 pound bikes.
This rack comes with a lock for the bike rack and the bikes.
