Can The Thule T2 Pro XTR Separate If You Only Needed To Carry 2 Bikes

Question:

Is this basically a XTR 2-2 plus the accessory? If so, the second add-on should come off easily or is this a completely different unit and its just one carrier made to carry up to 4 bikes? Thank you

Yes that is correct the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches # TH69TX has the ability to remove the front 2 bike positions if you only need to carry 2 bikes; while still giving you the ability to add on up to 4 bikes if need be.
