How Much Tire Capacity Necessary for Cougar Fifth Wheel

I have a Cougar fifth wheel 2019 rated at 13990 gross vehicle with tandem axles is this enough tire for me

Because the pin weight of a fifth wheel is typically between 20-25 percent of its weight (as opposed to the lesser percentage from a bumper pull trailer), we typically specify that the combined capacity of the tires should cover the as-towed weight minus the fifth wheel's pin weight. So, if the 13990 lb figure you mentioned less the fifth wheel's pin weight is less than the 14,080 lb combined weight capacity of 4 of the # TTWTRTM2358016E Taskmaster Provider tires, they would work great for you.

Even though it isn't technically necessary, we do have a 235/80-16 Load Range G tire # WE76FR that has a 4080 lb capacity (16320 lbs for 4 tires) that would also work well for you.
