The relays that you need to install that came in the Curt T Connector Kit # C56226 would still need to be installed on the wiring harnesses in order to get your lights to work; you may need to go through the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment and push those wires into the cabin of the vehicle to make them easier to find from behind the kick plate. Once you locate them and install the relays your lights and power should work.
If you're able to get the relays plugged in and still aren't getting power and the running lights you may have an issue with the ground on your vehicle wiring harness. To test this, check the plugs that you've plugged the harness into and make sure that everything is functioning correctly from those 2 parts. If you're getting full power from both of those harnesses, let me know and I can give you a few other things to check.
