Can the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for a 2017 Toyota Sienna Be Powered Using the Rear 12 Volt Aux
Question:
Can we use the 12v aux power in the rear to power the 118648? What is its amperage capacity? Im sure the approach will depend on the trailer amperage draw which Ill check.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118648 which is a fit for your 2017 Toyota Sienna will need to be powered directly from the vehicle's battery. If you choose to use the rear 12 volt auxiliary power which is not what I recommend then you will need to do so at your own risk. The maximum amp draw for the above trailer wiring harness is separated between two circuits, 7.5 amps for the tail lights and 2.1 amps for the stop/turn signal lights.
I have attached an install video that shows you exactly how to run the power wire to the battery if that is the route that you choose.
