Factory Replacement 7-Way Plug For 2004 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
Do you know if the four mounting holes on this item align with the mounting holes on an OEM 04 GM Tahoe factory 7 way bracket?

Expert Reply:
The Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector part # HM40950 holes may line up with the bracket on your 2004 Chevy Tahoe if it's a Z71. According to Hopkins this connector only fits a 2004 Chevy Tahoe if it's a Z71. The mounting holes are 2.15" apart horizontally and 1.40" apart vertically so that you can compare to your mounting bracket.
If you do not have a Z71, I recommend to use the Mighty Cord Replacement 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector for Factory Tow Package part # A10-7072VP because it is considered a factory replacement for the Chevy Tahoe.
