Parts Needed to Add 7-Way and Brake Controller on 2014 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
I have a 14 Chrysler TandC and had it wired for lights only. I bought a trailer with electric brakes. What do I need to change what I have for a 7 pin type that will control brakes as well as lights.

Thanks for that photo, which shows you do have a 4-way like Wiring Harness # C56331 on your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country and we have exactly what you need in order to add a brake controller.
You will simply need to add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7, which will give you a 7-way connector, circuit breakers and the rest of the hardware needed to install a brake controller. The 7-way will power your trailer's electric brakes as well as its lights.
For a brake controller I recommend checking out the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 because it is an easy-to-use controller with a digital display. Tekonsha is known for making the most reliable brake controllers in the industry, as evidenced by the IQ's lifetime warranty.
