Recommended Tandem Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 40 Foot Trailer

Building a frame with 2 axles to put under a storage container it is a 40 foot 8000lb i have 2 6000lb axles with 1-3/4 wide leaf eye springs aready mounted i wont to get all parts 1 kit does it matter length of frame bkt not going to tow it much have to make them able to be towed.

Yes, the length of the trailer frame will play a part in determining where to position the trailer axles. The axles will need to be placed under the trailer so that 10-15% of the total weight will be on the tongue. I have attached a photo below with the formula you will need to use in order to find out the best spot to place your axles.
