Trying to install a trailer brake controller on a 2008 dodge ram 1500 unable to locate blue plug under dash.although it has the tailer plug at rear.

Sometimes the brake controller install harness is difficult to find in the 2008 Dodge Ram like what you have but since you have the factory trailer wiring it is there. You just might have to dig around for it a bit more.
