Recommended Trailer Hitch for Lance 2185 Trailer
Question:
I need to tow a small 400 # trailer behind my Lance 2185 in order to carry a 200# generator and some extra gas and water cans. It will have a tongue weight of about 100 #. What is my best bet for a receiver. Lance offers one, but it allows only 135# which is too small a margin for my taste. The receiver might also be used to carry a rack with perhaps 300 # . I dont want to invalidate the warranty.

You might also verify the trailer's tongue weight/towing capacity as well to be sure it can handle the weight of the second trailer.
