Parts Needed to Add 7-Way and Install Brake Controller on 2007 Ford E-350
Question:
I have a 2007 ford e-350 van with factory towing package . It only has a 4 pole flat connector at rear of van. What do I need to convert it to a 7 pole round. I have the 4 wire plug under the left dash which plugs into the wiring harness for my prodigy brake controller. Thanks

To convert the factory 4-Way connector on your 2007 Ford E-350 to the needed 7-Way for your brake controller you just need the Wiring Adapter # 37185. This will plug into the existing 4-Way to provide you with a 7-Way connector at the other end.
The blue (brake output) wire from the adapter will need to be manually run to the blue wire on the brake controller using some additional 10 gauge wiring # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot). You can then simply install your Prodigy brake controller like the P2 # 90885 using the Plug-In Adapter # 3035-P, which will plug into the harness behind the dash that you mentioned.
I have attached a short installation video that you can follow along with.
