Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Wesbar Heavy Duty Agricultural Warning Light. This is an amber light that's going to mount onto any of your farm equipment that you are pulling behind you. So it will help to increase visibility and make sure other drivers are aware of your equipment when you're traveling on the road. It will provide that flashing turn signal or warning light for the front and the back side there.

So it's going to be great for your harvesters, field cultivators and fertilizers because it is just the single light. It can work on either your driver's side or passenger side. Or if you want to add extras for even more visibility, it will work for that as well.So this does meet all lighting standards for agricultural field equipment, including the ASABE S279.13 lighting requirements. So it is going to be legal for you to get the job done the way you need it to.It does have the two-pole plug to get this plugged into your current system. So it's going to be compatible with 12 volt DC systems and just plug right in and be ready to go.

It is a surface mount, so you can mount it horizontally or vertically. We've got quarter inch holes here that are pre-drilled that you can use bolt screws or attach heavy magnets to get this to stick permanently or temporarily with the magnets. We do have magnets available here that are sold separately that would mount on there and it'd be very easy to get this attached temporarily if you just need it for a short time.But this is going to be a nice durable option. Obviously when you're out working in the fields, you're going to be jostled around quite a bit. So you want to make sure that your light's going to be durable.

It's going to hold up well. So this is a glass filled thermoplastic housing. It's going to withstand that rigorous field conditions. It does help to deflect objects away from the lens area so that we're having less debris hit our lens. But that lens is a nice snap on acrylic lens.

So it's going to be tough to shatter resistant.Inside there we also have vibration dampening bulb holder to help ensure a nice steady beam of light, but that is an incandescent bulb in there. So if you're familiar with incandescent bulbs, they do tend to burn out a lot faster than your LED bulbs, but they are pretty easy to switch out too. So I personally would probably prefer an LED bulb in there. We do have other options that are LEDs, but if you are a big fan of the traditional incandescent bulbs, this will work just fine for you.Overall, our measurements. We're looking at right at from the base here right about six inches long by three inches deep. I'm going to say just shy of five and a half inches tall, probably call about five and three-eights of an inch.Now let me get this hooked up for you so you can see it working in action. Connect our ground there. And our power, so you can see it's going to be a nice bright light. Let me turn off the lights in the studio here for you. So nice bright amber light. Will work on both sides. Make sure that you're going to be nice and visible as you're pulling that equipment.So like I said, overall, it's going to be a good light for you. It is an incandescent bulb, so that's the one thing that I would probably prefer a slight difference on. I think the construction of it is going to be very durable and it's going to get the job done for you. So if this is the kind of light that you're looking for, I think you'll be very happy with it.
