Is Sidewinder Pin Box Needed for Ram 2500 6-1/2' Bed with RamBox
Question:
Looking at your website, I see it’s posted that a Ram 2500 with RamBox and 6’4” bed using factory puck system with Companion 5th wheel does not need a Sidewinder pin box or equivalent? Just want to verify it won’t hit the cab or RamBox sides without Sidewinder pin box. Thanks

Although the Sidewinder was created with a truck bed shorter than 6' in mind, since you have the RamBox on your Ram 2500 you do need to use a Sidewinder (or rotating turret) pin box with the B&W Companion # BWRVK3600. Please note that you do need to use the Custom Wedge # SWW-06 for the Sidewinder to properly fit.
