Expert Reply:

The Reese Revolution/Sidewinder wedge is designed to lock the head of the hitch to the king pin of the trailer so that it can't turn. This forces the setup to turn at the turret of the Revolution instead which is what gives you the turning clearance. The Revolution pin boxes come with a universal wedge that would most likely fit decently with a Reese hitch part # RP30047 but you'll a much better fit with the custom wedge for this hitch part # SWW-03.
