on a trailer bolt pattern what is the distance between two studs on 5 on 4.5 between two studs on my trailer its 2 5/8

If you measure from the center of one hole to the center of the next hole and it measures 2-5/8 then your bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2.

2-3/4" is 5 on 4-3/4 bolt pattern.
3" is 5 on 5 bolt pattern.
3-1/4" is 5 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern.
