The best 7-way trailer connector to use the Reese Towpower LED Lighted Hitch Step 7065300 is going to be largely dependent on the year, make, and model of the tow vehicle. However, the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets part # HM40975-11998 is what I recommend using as it has both 4 and 7-way trailer connection points, comes with a mounting bracket, and has a removable wiring harness pigtail which is easy to install using the included connectors.
