How To Carry Bikes On a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Electric

the hitch would be use with a platform bike rack. We bought the rack a year ago. I will shop around to see if i can find a rack that fits on the rear window altought it is not my first choice.

Unfortunately, we do not have a trailer hitch for your 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Electric at this time nor can I recommend you modify a hitch to work for you. May I ask what you need a trailer hitch for?

Hi, I have a 2019 hyundai ioniq hybrid and I just got this fullback 3 bike rack as recommended. I notice from the photo you have the rack sitting on the "ioniq" icon on the trunk. Have you noticed any distortion on that frame? That is one of my biggest fears of detachable racks-- either denting the trunk or the bumper from tightening it too much and/or it is too loose and slides.

We haven't gotten any specific customer feedback regarding issues like this with the FullBack on the Hyundai Ioniq, although I will say it's likely not the best solution for really long road trips. If you're just using it to transport your bikes up to the local trail and back then it'll be perfectly fine.

You're in luck, we have just what you need to carry bikes on your 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Electric. The Yakima FullBack Bike Rack part # Y02634 for two bikes or part # Y02633 for three bikes is a confirmed fit which you can see in the attached photo. This is actually one of my favorite trunk mount bike racks because it has a very sleek finish so it does not stand out as much on the back of a new vehicle and it's very durable. Once you get your hands on the rack you will get a better feel for the quality construction. The rack also comes with locks for your bikes. Please note, you will need to install the upper and lower hooks in anchor mode but this is explained in the instructions for you. If you have any deep drop tube bikes you will also need the Yakima Bike Adapter Bar part # Y02531.
