How to Pick Out Replacement Roof Vent Lid for Trailer
Question:
Im looking to replace both vent lids on my trailer. I dont know the model of vent currently on the trailer but it appears to be quite similar to this item. However im a little confused looking at the discription of 14x14inch and one of the photos shows 15x15. The old vent lid that I removed only has the metal frame left and it measures slightly under 15x15. So, will this vent fit?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The easiest way to match the replacement roof vent lid a trailer needs is to look at the hinge style of the lid and the overall shape of the lid. If your current lid has a hinge that is one continuous metal hinge and the shape matches then this is the correct fit. They are all essentially the same size which matches what you said you found. I attached two pictures that will show you what the shape and hinge should look like for the part # BV0554-01 to be the correct fit. If yours looks different send me a picture of the hinge and I'll take a closer look.
I also attached an install video for this vent for you to check out as well.
