Can Same Weight Distribution System and Settings be Used Between Two Trailers
Question:
I purchased PN FA94-00-0600 for my 2008 Toyota Tacoma. I also have a 2015 Toyota Highlander that has the ability to tow and would be using it to tow the same trailer. I am wondering if when you switch the system from one vehicle to another, if you have to completely reset everything each time you change vehicles. Would it make more sense to own 2 separate FA94-00-0600s? Can you let me know what makes the most sense to allow for this to work? Thanks,

You SHOULD be able to use the same weight distribution system with the same exact settings between two vehicle like what you mentioned. As long as the weight of the trailer is under the towing capacities for both vehicles the same amount of spring bar tension should be used for best application.
The only other reason it might make sense to have a second system would be if the hitch heights of the two vehicles are drastically different. In this situation you'd be unbolting the head of the system and installing it to a different set of mounting holes which may or may not be a hassle you'd want to deal with.
I attached a help article that has more info on weight distribution systems for you to check out as well.
