How Could 90 Degree Trailer/Tow Vehicle Turn be Made with Weight Distribution System Hooked Up
Question:
I have a 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche, and a travel trailer weighing 3500 lbs full, 2600 empty. tongue weight is 315 lbs. I need some recommended sway control. My main goal is to still be able to have 90 degree turns, This is where i am wondering if I need 4 point instead of 2 point. I would love to have this question verified, and know the correct model number to order!

With any weight distribution system you aren't going to be able to make a jackknifed 90 degree turn between the trailer and the tow vehicle with the spring bars attaches. That's going to be too sharp and the spring bars will likely come out of the hangers or damage themselves.
What you can do is remove the bars whenever you need to make that tight of a turn or if at all possible avoid that tight of a turn.
For your tongue weight the Fastway kit part # FA92-00-0450 would be your best option. It has 2 points of friction sway control and has spring bars that are on the easier side for removing and installing.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
