Compatibility Of Gen-Y 5TH Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box And a Lifted 2003 Ford F-250

Question:

Does the 325-GH-8045 have any height adjustment to help keep the trailer level? I only ask because I have a 2003 F-250 swb, but it has a 8in lift on 37inch tires. But the bed rails are only 62inch from the ground, I recently measured a 2020 F250 and his bed rails were at 59 1/2. So I think it could be done, just might need a little adjustment. I am definitely open to other options, so i will attach some pictures.

Yes, the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel-Gooseneck Pin Box # 325-GH-8045 is height adjustable with the bolt holes on your trailer pin box mount. This adjustment is there to ensure that your bed has enough vertical clearance to the 5th wheel so that they do not come into contact when going over hills.

To check and see if you will be able to pull the camper with your lifted 2003 Ford F-250 you should raise the front to where the underbelly of the truck overhang is 68" from the ground. You want 6" of clearance between your bed rails and the underbelly for clearance. Then you will see a more accurate representation of how the trailer will ride as you drive down the road. Be sure to check the rear heights of the trailer as you want it as level as possible for towing and don't want the rear of the 5th wheel camper dragging over bumps and hills.

Depending on your suspension we may have a lift kit that will raise the suspension and allow you to ride more level if your truck is to tall. Please let me know what you have and I can help you with a solution.
