D-Ring Bumper Mounts for Poison Spyder Bumper on 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

Hi, I purchased a Roadmaster All terrain tow bar with the D ring bracket kit. I ordered the wrong size but also realized the angle with my lifted Jeep would be too high. I figure the bracket is a good amount lower than the D ring mount. I have a Poison Spyder aftermarket front bumper. What bracket kit should I purchase? Mine is the white Jeep. Thanks,

That's a cool Jeep and the correct adapter for your 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a Poison Spyder front bumper are the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars - 3/4" Thick # RM-035, which we know to be the correct size for this bumper.

In regards to the angle of your Jeep's mounts being too high, what you will need is called a High-Low adapter. To choose the correct High-Low adapter you will need to start by measuring the height from the ground to the center of the trailer hitch on your motorhome. Then measure from the ground to the center point of the mounts where your tow bar attaches on your Jeep.

If the trailer hitch on your motorhome is higher, then the difference in the measurements is the amount of drop you need. If the tabs/base plates are higher, the difference is the amount of rise you need; the correct high-low adapter will put you within 3" of level either way. I have added a link to our help article on High-Low adapters which I recommend checking out. Once you determine the rise or drop you need, you can choose from these available adapters:

- Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars - 2" Hitches - 2" Rise/Drop # RM-072-2
- Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars - 2" Hitches - 4" Rise/Drop # RM-048-4
- Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars - 2" Hitches - 6" Rise/Drop # RM-048-6
- Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars - 2" Hitches - 8" Rise/Drop # RM-048-8
