Brake Flange that Can Fit to Square Axle that is 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches

Question:

I have a Karavan Single PWC trailer that I want to add brakes too. It has a square axle 1.5inch 1775lbs per sticker and is an usual length axle. I was going to replace the axle but the 60inch is too long, so I have to make this one work. What brake flange works and brake hub/drum? Spindle I believe is 1 1/16

You'd have to go with a brake mounting flange designed for a round axle since we don't have any specifically for square axles. Most likely some modifications will need to be made but since only people with experience installing brake flanges should perform this install they'll have a way to make it work.

Using a flange with a smaller center hole like the part # 4-34 might be the way to go since it would give you more metal to work with to get it to fit.
