Troubleshooting Edge Programmer that Won't Power On When Plugged into Vehicle  

Question:

My edge programmer will not power up when connected to the truck but will when connected to the computer. I have check every fuse . I drive a 2006 Ford F-150 King Ranch 5.4L. My programmer is a evolution cts 2, serial number is 200984426.

Have you tried seeing if your cigarette lighter auxiliary plugs on your truck are still active? That power circuit is often times the same power circuit for the OBDII connections and when it fails programmers won't power on.

I have a edge evolution I got power to my cig but no power to my edge

If you're getting power on that 12V cigarette outlet but still aren't getting any power to the tuner when plugged into the OBD-II port, I honestly think your next step is to contact Edge directly. They will probably need to walk you through some troubleshooting steps specific to your particular vehicle and setup.

@JonathanG I'm having the same issue. My cigarette lighter outlets work, and mt code readers work In MY OBD2 outlet, but not my programmer. And my programmer turns on with power going into the usb, but does nothing without. Did you find out anything ?

@Jason Same here. Tried calling edge products but it didn't help. Could it be the cable? You ever figure it out?
