Why Wouldn't Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller Power On When Plugged into 2010 Chevy Suburban LT
Question:
Plugging in the new 51180 wireless brake controller. I have power running through the unit but no power to it so I can pair it to the app.

Sounds like the 12 volt power circuit of your 7-way trailer wiring isn't active currently which is why the Curt Echo part # C51180 is allowing trailer lighting functions to pass through it but won't power on. Since you have a 2010 Chevy Suburban what you'll need to do is check out the help article I attached that details how to make all of the connections under the hood needed to activate this circuit.
