Can a Trailer be Towed and Bike Rack be Carried at Same Time
Question:
Can I use this on my tow vehicles Mazda CX-5 hitch so that I can pull my small travel trailer Aliner Ranger 12 and hold a bike rack at the same time? Why does the note say do not use to tow a trailer?

We have great solutions to allow you to tow a small trailer and carry a bike rack but the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-10 that you referenced was designed for applications where a vehicle is being flat towed behind an RV. The most similar adapter that might work for you is the Curt # D210 which has a ball mount platform and a hitch opening above it.
Another great option is the Stromberg Bike Bunk part # CC-275 which attaches to the a-frame of your camper and gives you a hitch opening above the coupler for a bike rack. Or we have bike racks that are designed to attach to a ball mount shank like the # S64664.
