Use of Fusion2Go 3.0 # SC43MR with TravlFi Journey Mobile Hotspot
Question:
Interested in this booster, we are currently using a TravlFi Journey 1 with generally good success. We do spend 4 months as volunteer campground Hosts and will be in a fringe receiving area average 2 Verizon bars. My question is how will this booster interface with a device such as the TravlFi? I realize this might be a TravlFi specific question, but maybe not? If the signal is boosted into the trailer, can the TravlFi then do it’s thing inside, that is, decide which cell signal to use as it handles Verizon, ATT, TMobile and US Cellular. TravlFi offers the Winegard RangePro which it turns out is exactly the same as the device you offer by Sure Call. I would prefer to purchase from ETrailer as I have most things for our RV. Any input is appreciated. .

That is a great question. I went ahead and reached out to my tech at SureCall, and he confirmed that the Fusion2Go 3.0 Cell Phone Signal Booster # SC43MR can interface with your TravelFi Journey 1 hot spot. The Fusion2Go 3.0 improves the signal strength for hotspot. They do work in tandem with each other. Also, my tech confirmed that your hotspot will still be able to decide which provider signal to use (if your hotspot already has that function).
As far as installation, my tech recommend putting the hotspot at least 3-5 feet away from the # SC43MR in order to not interfere with the actual machinery.
