Do I Need to Adjust Weight Distribution System After Installing Air Springs
Question:
I currently use a equalizer 4 way hitch ,I purchased a set of firestone air springs , if i put my truck at the same distance from the ground as it was without the trailer ,do i need to adjust the equalizer hitch?

If the truck is still the same distance from the ground after the air spring installation as it was before the air spring installation then you may not need to adjust the equalizer hitch as long as the truck is level with the trailer. The point of the adjustable weight distribution shank is to keep the truck level with the trailer frame.
The weight distribution head angle adjustment on part # EQ37100ET, and other weight distribution systems like it, allows you to add or take away tension in the spring bars. It all depends on if you are level with the trailer after you hook it up. You may need to do some adjusting.
