Availability of Straight Ball Mount with Long Shank to Clear Spare Tire on Jeep Wrangler
Question:
looking for a straight ball mount that is extended. I have a jeep wrangler and have clearance problems with the spare tire. I need something with approximately 10inch for center of pin to center of ball. Do you have anything?

For your Jeep Wrangler the Curt Ball Mount # D-26 should work perfectly. It features a distance of 12-5/8 inches from the center of the pin hole to the center of the ball hole and has just a 3/4 inch rise. We do not have any straight ball mounts (without a rise or drop) that feature the longer shank you're needing but the minimal rise this particular unit does provide should be offset by the slight rear sag you'll get on the Jeep when hooking up a trailer.
This ball mount has a 7,500 pound towing weight capacity. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
