Can I install the Thule T2 Bike Rack in a toad car hitch and not directly behind the motorhome

If you had a 2 inch hitch installed on the towed vehicle of your flat towing setup you could use a bike rack but the Thule T2 Pro XT 4 Bike Platform Rack # TH69XT that you referenced is not approved for this set-up.
Instead, you could use the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
Item # NV22G-NA22G. It is approved for use on a flat-towed vehicle.
