Recommended SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer for a 2014 Ford F-150

Question:

I have been thinking about purchasing this item for my 2014 F-150. In looking at the photos on your web site, I see that the spring has some type of bushing between the factory leaf spring, and the super spring. What type of material is that bushing, and is there some method of securing the bushing to prevent it from falling out. Also, are the bolts that come with the kit hardened bolts, and if not, can they be replaced with hardened bolts without causing any problems. Thank You

The SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit part # SSA28 is an excellent option for your 2014 Ford F-150. It's going to help level the ride if you are towing or loaded as well as help to prevent body roll and shifting loads.

I called SuperSprings and they informed me that this particular kit uses a metal spacer between the leaf springs however, similar kits will use a poly spacer block. Once the weight is placed back over the rear axle, the suspension preload will compress the spring and hold the spacer in place. The rollers on the end of the shackles have a steel core with poly exterior. The bolts used in the kit are all grade 8, which means they have been hardened via heat treating.

I have attached an install video of the kit for you.
