What is the Application Difference Between the Brake Line Kit # 9505 and # 9579-2
Question:
Can you explain the difference between the 9505 and 9579-2 brake line kits? I have an dual axel Escort trailer with surge brakes for a 21foot boat and need to replace the entire braking system. The trailer is used in salt water.

I spoke with my contact at Dexter and he informed me that the Deluxe Hydraulic Line Kit # 9579-2 that you referenced is used for trailers with torsion axles. The Hydraulic Line Kit # 9505 that you referenced is designed for basically any other design axles.
So if you have torsion axles you would want the # 9579-2 and if you basically have anything else you would want the # 9505.
