Availability of Rooftop Cargo Box to Work with 43 Inch Crossbar Spread
Question:
Hello I have crossbars that are spread 43inch apart. Are there any cargo boxes that can fit this length? I am not interested in cargo baskets.

The closest options we have available to working with a 43 inch crossbar spread are the extra long cargo boxes from Yakima such as the excellent SkyBox 12 # Y07334. This 92 inch long cargo box is compatible with a crossbar spread of 24 to 42 inches.
If you are able to adjust the bars on your vehicle at all this will be your best option. Also note that when measuring your crossbar spread, you want to measure from the center of one bar to the center of the other (not just the actual space between them). I recommend verifying your measurement once more to see if this box will work without having to move the crossbars around.
