Will Airbags Work on a 2018 Ford F-250 With Factory Prep Package

Hi! I have a 2018 Ford F250, 4x4, 6.7L Diesel, 5th Wheel Prep that I use to haul a 5th wheel. I use an Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch as well, if that matters for the conversation. I would like to install Air Bags on the truck, but the disclaimer from AirLift that states the following: Will fit ALL models without a fifth-wheel hitch and will also fit most side mount fifth wheel hitch applications What is a side mount fifth wheel hitch? I cant find that anywhere. Most importantly, would their Air Bags fit my truck/setup? Thanks,

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers part # AL88399 which are a fit for your 2018 Ford F-250 WILL work with the factory prep package (pucks). The reason for this is because the upper airbag brackets install underneath the frame rail so there will be no interference with the factory prep package which mounts on the inside of the frame rails or an aftermarket 5th wheel hitch that mounts on the outside of the frame rails. A side mount 5th wheel hitch is simply one that has frame brackets which mount on the outside of the frame rail. This is not what you have but even if you did there would not be any issues.
In order to take full control of the airbags you will want to use an air compressor system as this will allow you to adjust the airbags on the fly so you can always have the perfect amount of support/comfort. In order to achieve this I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System part # AL25980. The WirelessONE in particular is nice because it uses a wireless remote to control the inflation valves so you don't have to run any wires/lines into the cab.
