Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch to Install on Gooseneck Hitch Ball for 2011 Ford F-150
Question:
Do you have a fifth wheel hitch that I can mount to the gooseneck ball. I have the flip over hitch in my 2011 f150, 8200 gvwr . Thanks

We do have a 5th wheel hitch that mounts directly to a gooseneck hitch ball! Check out the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045. This features a single wraparound jaw with a 3/4" steel locking bar for added security as well as a 21K weight rating. The Recon secures by attaching to the hitch ball directly and then pulling up on the hitch ball to keep it from spinning around during operation (see attached photo). Please note that if you have a short bed on your 2011 Ford F-150 we will need to find a different solution for you.
If you happen to have the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1104 on your F-150 then we actually also carry the Companion 5th wheel hitch that installs directly into the gooseneck receiver. If you have the 8' bed you would need part # BWRVK3500 but for a 6-1/2' bed part # BWRVK3400-5W.
Something else you may be interested in is a 7-Way that installs in the bed of your pickup like part # 50-97-410. If you don't already have one there then this makes connecting and disconnecting your gooseneck/5th wheel wiring much easier.
