Wll the Kick Sensor Still Work with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Lexus NX 300

Will the Kick sensor of the rear tailgate kick sensor still be operational when the hitch is placed? Thank you

Yes, the kick sensor will still be operational with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13337 installed on your 2018 Lexus NX 300. However, you will just need to place your foot on either side of the receiver tube in order to activate the sensor. The majority of vehicles with a rear hatch have this feature therefore trailer hitch manufacturers such as Curt have taken this into consideration while in the design process.
I have attached a photo of the above hitch installed as well as an install video for you. As you can see the process is fairly simple requiring very minimal tools and experience.
